We are a family-owned and operated second-generation Floridian land and surveying company that was built on integrity, long-standing relationships, and respect for the land and where we live.
With a foundation of professional staff members that have been on board since 2013 when Davris was founded, we have a team-minded approach and dedication to our clients and our profession.

Built on Experience.
1983
David York began his career in land surveying at Casson Engineering, located in downtown New Port Richey. Over the years, he gained experience across multiple firms, building a strong foundation in the field.
1999–2007
David served as Managing Officer for Global Surveying's Brooksville and Winter Haven branch offices, overseeing operations while continuing to build his expertise in land surveying throughout Central Florida.
2007–2010
David went on to own and operate Global Surveying of Brooksville, continuing to provide professional surveying services while leading the company through a changing economic landscape.
2012–2020
David partnered with longtime colleague Chris Chittum, whom he had originally met at Casson Engineering. Together, they operated Davris Inc., combining decades of experience with a shared commitment to delivering accurate, dependable surveying services throughout Florida.
2020
David York assumed full ownership of Davris Inc., continuing to build on the company's reputation for precision, integrity, and dependable service while leading the business into its next chapter.
2021
The next generation became actively involved when Halen York joined the company in 2021. Starting as a field crew member, he advanced to Crew Chief and now serves as a CAD Operator in the office. He is currently pursuing his Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper license to continue the family legacy.
